Explore Norwich a fine medieval City just a few minutes from the house. It has winding cobbled streets and it is a city of heritage, culture and shopping. Norwich is England’s only UNESCO City of Literature. In Norwich everything is within walking distance and has the river Wensum at it’s heart. Norwich has a Norman castle,  two Cathedrals, the Anglican Norman Cathedral Hostry with it’s gardens and the Roman Catholic Narthex. Five theatres, four cinemas,  the largest permanent open air market in England open six days a week. A numerous array of  restaurants and bars.  A host of art galleries and museums and ancient pubs.

Two shopping centres and four department stores, many independent stores and boutiques in the quaint cobbled lanes filled with independent shops and cafes. Norwich is easy to explore in an afternoon.
